Day Camp 2012
Day Camp 2012 was a great success. The Mighty 35 had 22 boys attend the festivities. They did all kinks of cool stuff. Check out the short video below:
Bike Race Fundraiser – 35 Miles for Pack 35
Rob Smith, Cubmaster for Pack 35, is raising money for the Cub Scouts by participating in the Tour de Donut in Staunton, IL on July 14. This is no ordinary race – you have to eat donuts along the route to shave minutes off of your final time (five minutes per donut.) A true test of endurance paired with an iron stomach.
This is Rob’s first bike race and he wants to make it count. He has been training for the last month in preparation for the race – and the donuts. His goal is to eat at least ten donuts during the race (and keep them down!) For Rob, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to raise money for the Cub Scout Pack.
All donations will go directly to the Pack to assist with activities. The goal is to raise at least $1,000.
If a business would like to donate at least $100 to the effort, the business logo will be displayed on the race t-shirt as well as the Pack website and any other promotion that is done. Deadline for businesses to be included on the t-shirt is June 22. Checks made payable to Pack 35 can be mailed to: Pack 35, O’Fallon UCC, 206 West Adams St., O’Fallon, IL 62269
You can also make a donation to the ride by emailing the Pack at info@ofallonpack35.org or online via Paypal.
Thanks in advance for your continued support of Cub Scout Pack 35.
