Spring is a great time to join Cub Scouts. With Summer Camp and other activities coming up there is lots of fun to be had. We will have a join scouts night on Tuesday, April 29 at 6pm in the EK School Cafeteria. If you can make the meeting not to worry – you can join at any time. If you have questions about the Pack please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Check out our video below to get just a taste of what Pack 35 Scouts do on a regular basis. Warning: Don’t show to your kids unless you’re prepared to join us!
Fall Campout (October 5-7) & Bobcat Ceremony (October 6)

Cub Scout Launch – October 20

This will be an event that mimics the Summer Camp experience with bb guns, archery, games and much more. Cost is only $5 per Cub Scout – this is only for NEW Cub Scouts. Our own Bear leader Mr. Dalman is the program director for this event. See the flyer for more details. Register online at http://lewisandclarkbsa.kintera.org/12cslaunch
Haunted Hayride – October 27
We are planning to go to this fun activity on Saturday, October 27 – close to Halloween. See the flyer for details about the upcoming Haunted Hayride at Camp Warren Levis in Godfrey, IL. The cost is $6 per person and under 3 are free. As we get closer to the activity there will be more coordination on time.
See the flyers (Religious Awards for Catholics and Training Classes) on upcoming Catholic religious awards your Scout can earn by Scout Sunday (First Sunday in February.) The Protestant classes are usually held around the first of the year and more information will be available on those when it becomes available.

How do I Pay for Camp?
Most of the fundraisers we have each year (Popcorn, Operation Green Thumb and the new Camp Card fundraiser) allow for a portion of the sales to be added to the individual Scouts account. This money can be used for Scout related activities – including Summer Camp.
